Willy Paul's journey to the next Groove Awards has started in earnest with the release of his latest single 'Hukuniacha.' After missing out on a single award at the recently concluded Groove Awards, he has his work cut out for him to regain his past glory as an award winning artist.
As it turns out, Willy Paul wrote this song one and a half years ago, so you can rule out the possibility of song theft in this one. The song apparently made sense to him last month and here we are.
'Hukuniacha' is basically about the Lord's presence in his life during the struggles of growing up in Mathare and establishing a career in music.
The song has however been likened to his past hit song 'Lala Salama.' Needless to say, it is a nice jam and is reminiscent of the old Willy Paul before fame got to his head.
