The show, dubbed Talk Central, will be hosted by Eric Njoka every Thursday night. On its debut episode, Eric hosted Sharon Mundia and social media bigwig @Xtiandela.
Eric and his guests will be discussing current affairs, and probably one or two cat videos.
By deciding to air it on Thursday, K24 obviously was trying to avoid the same day and time slot as The Trend, which would have meant its death even before it started.
They are also hoping to have the trending topics a day earlier than Larry Madowo, thus hopefully reduce his viewers.
I have no problem with such shows been hosted in the news studio, but at least NTV's is way cooler than K24.
K24 did a commendable job with the graphics and animation, but the studio just kills the mood.
We'll be watching its progress in coming weeks.
