Who knew one could lose their job for leaving a Whatsapp group?!
One of the actors who quit comedy show 'Hapa Kule' has revealed the real reason why her services were no longer required.
Actress Rose Nyabhate through social media wrote: "It's true that I was shown the door from Hapa Kule after asking for a raise. I used to go home with Sh 1,000 per episode translating to Sh4,000 a month!"
She continued: "Who gets fired for leaving a WhatsApp group, really? I shoot in Kiambu each week, no transport and only one meal a day, after which I make Sh1,000. Fame doesn't pay bills. I loved the show a lot and gave my best but it was never enough. I don't want to talk about this any more. I was fired!"
The show has had to hire a new crew after the original cast members staged a major walkout.
