New PHOTOS of East Africa's Largest Mall 'Garden City'

gard5These are exciting times for Kenya on the development front. This week we have seen the amazing progress of the Standard Gauge Railway. It got better when it was announced that the government has started negotiations with the company building the Standard Gauge Railway for the extension of the line from Nairobi to Naivasha.

The next piece of great news comes in the form of Garden City Mall. The mall which is the largest in East Africa (read na haturingi) is set to open its doors to the public today as phase one of the project nears completion.

Once complete, phase one of the Mall will consist of 33,000 square metres of retail space including 120 local and international brands spread across three levels. The first floor will be anchored by Game, the flagship store in Kenya for the retail giant that is part of the Walmart Group. This will be alongside Nakumatt supermarket, Tile & Carpet and Victoria Courts.
